Facility Licensure
Healthcare Facility Regulation (HFR) licenses, monitors and inspects a variety of facilities and services through Health Care Licensing, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, personal care homes and nursing homes. The division investigates complaints and inspects these and other health care facilities. HFR is the state survey agency performing federal certification inspections in health care facilities participating in the Medicare and/or Medicaid programs.
